Open Data

Posted here are some data files compiled or created by Ontario Projections.
  • Ontario Elections Results (2007 & 2011)
  • Pearson Correlations to 2006 census data. For percent of votes and percent electors, 2007 and 2011.
  • Differences in correlation - These Pearson correlations were tested for significance. If either pair of the correlations compared did not meet the test for a measure, it is blank.

A positive correlation coefficient suggests an increase in support among this demographic in the 2011 elections, though admittedly this is a very rough sketch. A negative correlation coefficient suggests a loss of support from that demographic in 2011.

Demographic data for the Rest of Ontario is from the 2006 census, while the Northern Ontario data comes from the 2001 census.
